Monthly Group Sessions 

At Redwood Psychology, we offer a unique mindfulness course in Singapore that combines the benefits of meditation and nature. Our monthly group mindfulness sessions, held on the first Saturday of each month, provide an opportunity for individuals to engage in mindfulness practices and meditation in the serene setting of Fort Canning Park.

These mindfulness group therapy sessions are designed to enhance self-awareness, promote acceptance, and teach valuable mindfulness skills. Led by our experienced clinical team, this experiential program incorporates various mindfulness techniques and exercises to help participants develop a deeper connection with themselves and their surroundings.

During our 90-minute mindfulness session, you can expect a blend of activities that include:

  1. Forest Bathing (25 min): A guided meditation through nature, incorporating mindful seeing and breathing exercises.

  2. Mindful Art Therapy (20 min): Creative expression to enhance present moment awareness and emotional regulation.

  3. Group Sharing (30 min): An opportunity for mindful listening and developing group dynamics.

  4. Mindful Movements (10 min): Gentle exercises focusing on body scan techniques and mindfulness-based stress reduction.

  5. Closing (5 min): A brief guided meditation to integrate the experience.

Our mindfulness training program is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to mindfulness practices and techniques. Participants will learn how to practice mindfulness in their daily lives, developing skills such as:

  • Mindful breathing and body awareness

  • Non-judgmental observation of thoughts and emotions

  • Mindful listening and communication

  • Stress reduction through mindfulness-based interventions

  • Acceptance and self-compassion practices

 

By participating in our group mindfulness exercises, you'll not only benefit from the guidance of our experienced facilitators but also from the support and shared experiences of fellow group members. This combination of professional instruction and group dynamics creates a powerful environment for personal growth and learning.

Whether you're seeking anxiety management tools, looking to enhance your emotional regulation skills, or simply want to explore the benefits of mindfulness, our Group Mindfulness in Nature sessions offer a unique and enriching experience.

Our mindfulness group therapy sessions are suitable for individuals at all levels of experience, from those new to meditation to those looking to deepen their practice. You can join as an individual, with a friend, or we can organise a private session for your group.

The monthly sessions will proceed when the minimum group size is met. The fee for each person is $50.
